BUHE’s next phase is not about choosing people to follow a finished plan. It is about selecting a small working group that can clarify the vision together, build trust, and create a process others can learn from.
More than 75 people have expressed interest in exploring community asset ownership through BUHE.
That is encouraging.
But interest is not the same as readiness.
Since the August 13 launch, I have started having one-on-one conversations with people who raised their hands. Those conversations are already teaching me something important.
